Lee County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot verify present custody, arrange a release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. Please use the appropriate public office below for a custody, records, court, or detention question.

Official Lee County Record Contacts

Match the request to the agency that holds the record. Lee County uses a regional jail in Duffield, so the sheriff, detention authority, and courts may each hold different parts of the same matter. Charges at booking are accusations only. Court records, not a roster entry, show later proceedings and disposition.

Lee County Sheriff's Office

For sheriff-held reports, the dated Busted archive, or a non-emergency question, use the Lee County Sheriff's Office contact page. Deadra Howard is identified by the office as Records Officer. The research did not locate a separate online booking-photo form, records email address, or fixed booking-photo fee, so ask for the existing record and an estimate if cost matters.

Current Custody and Duffield FOIA

For a person presently held in the regional system, begin with the SWVRJA Current Facility Inmates gateway. It leads to a regional current-custody search, not a Lee-only historical roster. The Duffield Facility contact page lists the facility phone for detention questions. For a booking sheet, routine intake photograph, or other jail-held record, direct a reasonably specific request to the current SWVRJA FOIA contact, not to a generic commercial search page.

Virginia's FOIA procedure in Va. Code ยง 2.2-3704 uses reasonable specificity and actual access, search, duplication, or supply costs. The reviewed Lee and SWVRJA materials do not state one universal per-photo price. A request can identify the person's full name, approximate booking date, arresting agency if known, and the existing record requested.

Courts and Case Outcomes

For a filed case, hearing, or later disposition, use the Virginia Case Status and Information hub or contact the relevant Lee court clerk. Court offices do not provide a jail booking photograph. A docket search also is not a live warrant confirmation.

State, Federal, and Immigration Records

A person in Virginia state custody or supervision is outside the usual current Lee booking path. Use the official VADOC Inmate and Supervisee Locator, which is distinct from the regional jail search. For a VADOC-held record, its FOIA page directs requests to the record-maintaining manager, warden, superintendent, or probation/parole chief and lists its central contact.

VADOC FOIA, Anne-Cabrié Forsythe
P.O. Box 26963
Richmond, VA 23261
Phone: 804-963-2953
Email: FOIA@vadoc.virginia.gov

Federal and immigration custody are separate systems. The BOP Inmate Locator covers federal inmates and does not provide a public photograph field. The ICE Online Detainee Locator is for qualifying current ICE custody or recent releases, not a Lee County booking record. For U.S. Marshals Service records, use its formal FOIA route; it is not a public county booking lookup.

Where to Start

  • Use the home records hub for the official sheriff archive, regional roster, adult intake-photo request context, and records-request sequence.
  • Use Wanted Fugitives for the verified warrant-check and tip-routing limits.
  • Use Arrest News for the difference between a report, a news item, and an official record.
  • For Pennington Gap or Jonesville police-held material, contact the agency that created the record. Their town pages are linked from Pennington Gap Busted Mugshots and Jonesville Busted Mugshots.
  • Call 911 for an immediate emergency. Do not use a web result to decide whether a warrant is active or to approach another person.
